Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Kerzner (ranked 3601 p4p, 5082 weight class) and Marat Mustafaev (ranked 417 p4p, 518 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Kerzner looks to score with a jab to the body but Mustafaev is just out of range.
Mustafaev throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kerzner tries to counter with a takedown but Mustafaev is quick to defend against it.

Mustafaev moves into the clinch.
Mustafaev lands with a right to the head.
Mustafaev prevents the takedown attempt.

Kerzner goes for a takedown attempt but Mustafaev pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harold Kerzner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kerzner fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mustafaev to the ground. Kerzner is now in Mustafaev's guard.
Kerzner is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Kerzner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Kerzner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mustafaev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kerzner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mustafaev wants to stand and escape but Kerzner is having none of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kerzner passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kerzner is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Kerzner has an Americana. Mustafaev didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kerzner is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kerzner hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
