Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Parker (ranked 4729 p4p, 5009 weight class) and Wow Man (ranked 430 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wow Man! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man throws a right hand that Parker ducks under and follows up with a left that Parker also avoids with ease. Parker misses with a low kick. Man shoots in for a takedown but Parker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Parker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker pulls Man in close to prevent any damage. Parker continues to stall.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Man doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Man manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Parker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Man gets a clinch. Man has Parker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Man has had enough of the clinch but Parker keeps him there for the moment. A right hand to the body from Man.

Parker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Man is looking to control Parker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Man avoid being mounted? Parker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Parker not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Parker lands with a punch from half guard.

Man is trying to control Parker's posture but Parker avoids it. Man trying to remain calm as Parker controls from the top position. Man throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. A lull in the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Parker is working Man over with some ground and pound from side control. Man wants to control but Parker postures up. Parker connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Man some visible discomfort.
Man sneaks back into half guard. Parker winds up and cracks Man with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Parker controlling the pace. Man tries to get to full guard but Parker has control of the leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker working Man over with strikes. Parker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Man trying to control but Parker postures up.
Man pushes Parker off looking to stand but Parker dives back in and keeps control.

Man is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Parker stands up over Man, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Man takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Man can't keep his opponent in guard - Parker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Man throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Parker has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Man works to full guard. Parker won't allow Man to sweep him here. Wow Man has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Robert Parker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Parker controlling from the top position.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Parker showed his dominance in that final round. Well Parker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
