Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Noah Konn (ranked 4680 p4p, 4883 weight class) and Junior Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noah Konn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Junior Turner!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Konn motions for Turner to come forward. Konn throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Donk. Turner catches Konn right on the button with a cross.

Turner drops Konn with a left right combo! Turner follows him down to the ground into side control.

Konn is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Konn struggling a bit here.
Oh Konn is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Konn gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Konn is pressing down on Turner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Konn seems to have got his legs back now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Konn is on top in guard.

Konn is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Turner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Konn is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Turner has escaped the position, nice work there.
Konn cracks Turner with a big right hand but Turner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Konn tries to move to mount but Turner blocks the move with his legs.
Konn trying to control the action but Turner is working from the bottom.
Konn looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Turner is avoiding damage well.

Konn looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Turner avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Konn.
Konn in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Turner prevents Konn from moving into mount.
Konn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Turner gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Konn looking to ground and pound but Turner is blocking nicely.

Konn has hold of Turner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Turner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Konn sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Turner wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Konn.
Konn throws some wild stikes that Turner manages to avoid easily.
Turner tries to buck Konn off but Konn takes his back!
Turner is trying to stand back up.

Konn working for a choke but Turner is defending well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Noah Konn dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Konn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Turner pinned against the cage. Turner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Turner blocks a head kick by Konn.
Turner misses with a few strikes there.
Konn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Turner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Konn appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turner changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Turner lands a nice shot to the body.
Turner misses with the combination.

Konn misses with a body kick.
Konn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turner.
Turner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Konn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Turner scores with a jab to the head.
Turner throws a shot to the body.
Konn fails with the takedown.
Turner scores with a hook to the body. Konn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Turner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Turner's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Turner duly obliges.

Turner drops his shoulder and cracks Konn with a huge uppercut! Konn goes down! Can Turner finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Turner wanted to stand there but Konn had control of the position.
Konn not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Noah Konn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Turner would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Konn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turner doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turner manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Turner wants to stand but Konn is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Turner connects with the punch.
Turner lands a nice shot that snaps Konn's head back.
Turner misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Turner drops Konn with a right and a left! Turner comes rushing in but Konn regains his composure and manages to keep Turner in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Turner wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Konn's closed guard. He's half up but Konn has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Konn pivots and extends the arm, Turner falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Konn! Well done that man!
