Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Lindsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Noakes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Lindsey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harry Noakes! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noakes clinches up with Lindsey and pushes him back against the cage. Lindsey has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Noakes regains guard immediately. Lindsey throws and elbow that misses. Noakes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lindsey's guard. Nice move by Noakes! Lindsey bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Noakes's guard. Lindsey has gone for a leg lock! Noakes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Lindsey's guard. Lindsey working for a triangle but Noakes defends it easily.
Noakes trying to control the position from guard on top but Lindsey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lindsey is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lindsey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Noakes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Lindsey working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lindsey will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Noakes decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Noakes wants to clinch. Lindsey wants to clinch but Noakes slips to the side and Noakes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Noakes. Noakes looks to throw an elbow but misses. A nice glancing elbow lands by Noakes. Noakes throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lindsey can't get the takedown.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Lindsey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Noakes is looking to control Lindsey's arms but Lindsey gets an underhook and turns him. Now Noakes has his back to the cage. Noakes pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Noakes throws an elbow but misses. Noakes misses with a knee to the head. Noakes gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lindsey.
Lindsey could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Noakes prevents the takedown attempt.
Lindsey is breathing heavily. Noakes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Noakes lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Lindsey blocks the elbow strike.

Noakes creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Noakes lands a damaging elbow. Noakes with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Noakes is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Lindsey wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Noakes has him pressed against the cage. Lindsey is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Noakes pulls him back up using the underhooks. Noakes throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Noakes gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lindsey tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Noakes smiles and moves away.
Noakes tries to close the distance and clinch but Lindsey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lindsey circles away from the clinch attempt and Lindsey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lindsey. Noakes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Noakes wants to stand but Lindsey is controlling the position. Lindsey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Noakes dives on top into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lindsey tries to strike from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lindsey wants to sweep but no luck. Noakes trying to control the position from guard on top but Lindsey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lindsey looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Noakes passes into side control.
Lindsey is looking to regain half guard here but Noakes keeps moving and retains side control. Noakes wants to control but Lindsey is keeping him busy.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Noakes gets to mount! Lindsey was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Lindsey regains half guard. Lindsey tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Noakes has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Lindsey swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Lindsey is trying to escape the mount.
That's six minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Lindsey swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Lindsey tries to get back to half guard but can't. Noakes get's back to his feet. Noakes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lindsey swats him away and circles back towards the center. Noakes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - Noakes looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Noakes fails in his attempt to clinch. Harry Noakes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Noakes tries to close the distance and clinch but Lindsey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Noakes tries to clinch but Lindsey moves away and Lindsey counters with a takedown into side control. Lindsey wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Noakes, who protects the arm well. Noakes can't do much from the bottom here.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Lindsey is looking to take a break and control but Noakes is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Noakes wants to get back to his feet but Lindsey drags him back down. Lindsey in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Noakes is pushing Lindsey's head away, looking to escape. Lindsey manages to hold on to the position though. Lindsey goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Noakes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Lindsey's guard! Nice work there by Noakes! Lindsey is trying to keep Noakes in close.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lindsey fails with the takedown. Lindsey lands a head kick. Noakes smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Lindsey circles away from the clinch attempt.
Noakes closes the distance but Lindsey moves to the side and Lindsey counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Noakes is trying to control but can't.
Lindsey works his way into side control. Noakes can't do much from the bottom here.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Lindsey swings around for an armbar but Noakes sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lindsey's guard. Lindsey wants to sweep here but Noakes controlling him for the moment. Lindsey thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Lindsey wants to sweep here but Noakes controlling him for the moment. Noakes wants to control from the top but Lindsey keeps moving. Noakes decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lindsey, up you get!
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Lindsey showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lindsey has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
