Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Oliver (ranked 2409 p4p, 1515 weight class) and Tanaka Matsuda (ranked 308 p4p, 203 weight class). Tanaka Matsuda has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jamie Oliver!

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.

Oliver tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Matsuda was well out of range. Poor timing from Oliver.
Matsuda looking to score a takedown here. Oliver is defending well but Matsuda drives through and ends up in Oliver's guard.
Oliver has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Matsuda has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

We've been informed that Matsuda has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Matsuda avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Matsuda drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Oliver defends it well.

Matsuda throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Oliver tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Matsuda is in Oliver's guard.

Oliver tries to bum rush Matsuda with a series of wild strikes but Matsuda uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Oliver cracks Matsuda with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Oliver is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Elite Underground Training Facility, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Matsuda is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Oliver doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Matsuda.

Oliver tries to hold on but Matsuda pushes him away.

Matsuda has hold of Oliver's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Oliver tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Matsuda cranks the arm and Oliver screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Oliver, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
