Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Richie Fortune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Winston!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.

Winston throws a shot from downtown. Fortune moves away and avoids it.
A head kick from Winston lands but Fortune takes it in his stride.
Fortune smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Fortune pushes Winston up against the cage in a clinch.
Fortune lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Winston backwards.
Fortune's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fortune wants to clinch up but Winston keeps it at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fortune has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Winston has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fortune uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Winston.
Fortune went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

and Fortune counters with a nice uppercut.
Winston drops Fortune with a left and a right! Oh, Fortune is hurt - Winston dives into side control looking to finish!

Winston is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fortune has escaped the position, nice work there.
Oh Fortune is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fortune tries to bench press Winston off him but Winston keeps the position.

Fortune seems to have got his legs back now.
Winston creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fortune sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Winston tries to advance to mount but Fortune denies him.
Winston gets to mount! Fortune was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Fortune is wriggling around trying to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fortune has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Fortune there as he acknowledges the shot.

Winston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fortune manages to avoid it.
Fortune swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

and Winston counters with a huge right that knocks Fortune out cold! Winston is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Harry Winston was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
