Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Roy (ranked 4161 p4p, 5039 weight class) and Jock Langdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jock Langdon will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jock Langdon!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.

Langdon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Roy moves out of range of the strikes.

Roy jabs Langdon right on the nose. Langdon blinks but takes it well.
Roy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Langdon.
Roy lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Roy cracks Langdon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roy is pulling down on Langdon's head. It's preventing any offense from Langdon, at least for the moment.
Langdon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Roy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Langdon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Roy is trying to control the position but Langdon postures up.
Roy wants to sweep here but Langdon controlling him for the moment.

Langdon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Langdon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Langdon controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Langdon is looking to work some ground and pound but Roy has wrist control.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Roy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Roy seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A jab lands there for Roy.
Langdon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Langdon drives through with a takedown into Roy's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Langdon postures up in Roy's guard and throws a big left but Roy blocks it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Langdon loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Roy pulls Langdon in close to prevent any damage.
Roy looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Langdon puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Langdon seems to be working for a kimura but Roy defends the submission attempt.
Roy wants to improve his position but Langdon is controlling well.
Langdon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Roy is looking to control Langdon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Roy avoid being mounted?

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jock Langdon dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Roy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Langdon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nice straight punches there by Langdon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Langdon.

Langdon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roy tries to get to full guard but Langdon has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Langdon is thwarting Roy's attempts to control the position.
Roy wants to get back to full guard but Langdon has mounted him!
Roy wants to hold on but Langdon pushes him away.

Jock Langdon has got the better of the ground game so far.

Roy tries to improve his position but Langdon has taken his back! Langdon has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Roy tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Langdon pushes Roy away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jock Langdon!
