Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spitler throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Howdy's waist but Howdy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Spitler off to one side. Spitler doesn't manage to clinch there - Howdy circles away.
Spitler throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Roy Howdy has been cut. A right-left combo lands from Spitler. Spitler goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Spitler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Spitler wants to control but Howdy is keeping him busy. Spitler passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Howdy! Howdy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Howdy holds on to Spitler as tight as he can, avoiding damage. Spitler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Howdy is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Howdy manages to regain half guard. Good work. Spitler is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Spitler wants to pass to mount but Howdy is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Howdy wants to control but Spitler is keeping busy.
Spitler trying to mount his opponent but Howdy defends it. Howdy trying to hold on to Spitler's head to control him but Spitler postures up.
Howdy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Howdy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Howdy trying to control the position here. Howdy tries to strike from the bottom.
Howdy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Despite being in the dominant position, Roy Howdy just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spitler drives through with a takedown into guard. Spitler is breathing heavily. Howdy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Spitler wants to stand but Howdy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spitler trying to control but Howdy is working from the bottom. Howdy striking off his back but it's not causing Spitler any problems. Howdy has his feet on Spitler's thighs here. He's pushed Spitler off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Spitler screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
