Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jabazil Loogan (ranked 4863 p4p, 5074 weight class) and Mike Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jabazil Loogan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Killer! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killer will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Killer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Loogan tries to counter with a takedown but Killer is quick to defend against it. Killer scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killer working over Loogan with some ground and pound. Loogan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Loogan trying to hold on to Killer's head to control him but Killer postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round. Killer is taking a breather. Loogan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Loogan trying to hold on to Killer's head to control him but Killer postures up.
Loogan is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Killer scores with a couple of nice shots. Killer performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Loogan wants to get back to full guard. Well, if Killer is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Loogan gets back to full guard.
Killer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Killer controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Killer scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loogan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Loogan content to stall in guard here. Killer wants to sweep but no luck. Loogan wants to control from the top but Killer keeps moving. Loogan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Killer controlling Loogan's posture. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Killer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Loogan's guard. Loogan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Killer manages to get himself to full guard.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Killer wants to sweep here but Loogan controlling him for the moment. Loogan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Killer sprawls and moves away. Loogan tries to clinch but Killer moves out of range. Killer cracks a nice hook into Loogan's ribs. Danga de danga de dang - Loogan scores with a four punch combination! Killer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Killer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Loogan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Killer is in Loogan's guard. Killer has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Killer controls from within his opponent's guard. Mike Killer has got the better of the ground game so far. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Killer sitting in guard here, content to control. Loogan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Killer is now in half guard. Loogan is trying to get back to full guard. Loogan is trying to control but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Killer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Killer prevents Loogan from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Killer controlling the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Killer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Loogan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Killer circles away. Killer rushes Loogan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Killer is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Loogan is defending well for now. Killer gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Loogan wants to improve his position but Killer is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Killer wants to free his trapped foot but Loogan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Killer seems to be looking for submissions.

Killer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Loogan sprawls well initially but Killer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Killer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Loogan wants to improve his position but Killer is controlling well.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Loogan. Loogan is looking to get to half guard. Killer tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Loogan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Loogan shrugs it off. Killer content just to control the position here. Loogan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Killer connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Killer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Killer controlling his opponent. Jabazil Loogan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mike Killer is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Killer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Killer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
