Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Klaus Chugman (ranked 737 p4p, 583 weight class) and Klay Dee (ranked 92 p4p, 73 weight class). Dee has chosen Tyler, The Creator - Who Dat Boy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Klaus Chugman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Klay Dee! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chugman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dee has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dee throws a hook but Chugman avoids it easily. Dee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chugman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chugman takes a swing at Dee's ribcage but misses. Dee waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chugman. Chugman slips a straight right by Dee. Dee misses with a hook. Chugman ducked under it nicely. Dee cracks Chugman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A jab from Dee misses. Dee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Chugman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dee swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dee looks to throw the jab but Chugman is out of range. Chugman throws a shot to the body.
Chugman closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dee quickly recovers to half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chugman working Dee over with strikes. Chugman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Chugman is looking for a kimura but Dee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chugman to get the leverage. We've been hearing that Chugman has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Chugman working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dee tries to roll over but Chugman keeps him under control. Chugman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Chugman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Dee tries to get to full guard but Chugman has control of the leg. Dee is trying to stand back up but Chugman is controlling him
Chugman is pressing down on Dee's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dee is holding on for now. Chugman is trying to work for a kimura but Dee is defending well.
Dee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chugman wants to control but Dee is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dee trying to control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chugman is trying to control the action in half guard but Dee is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Chugman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Chugman stops Dee from getting back to his feet.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Chugman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dee is fending him off so far but Chugman persists. Nope, Dee circles away and we're back to standing. Dee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dee wants it to stay on the feet. Dee misses with a body shot.
Chugman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dee's half guard. Dee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Dee controlling the position well. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Chugman connects with a nice short shot to Dee's temple. Chugman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dee is positioning himself well to prevent Chugman advancing to mount. Dee is trying to stand.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Chugman lands a nice short elbow. Dee wants to get back to his feet.
Chugman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dee sees it coming and defends easily. Chugman prevents Dee from standing back up.
Chugman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Dee wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dee is trying to maintain the position but Chugman is very close to passing his half guard. Chugman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dee's head. Chugman seems to be working for a kimura but Dee defends the submission attempt. Dee tries to kick Chugman off but Chugman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Chugman prevents Dee from standing back up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Chugman ducks right into an uppercut from Dee. Chugman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dee manages to avoid it. A looping hook to the body misses from Chugman. Dee does a little dance to reset his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Klaus Chugman dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Chugman defending well as Dee loads up on a big left hand. Chugman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dee. Dee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Dee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Chugman 's head but he takes it in his stride. Chugman is looking to clinch. Chugman fails with a takedown attempt. Dee looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Chugman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Chugman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dee did well to prevent Chugman getting side control. Chugman is pressing down on Dee's thigh, looking to free his foot. That's one minute gone in the round. Chugman prevents Dee from getting back to his feet. Chugman is in close to Dee's body, working some short punches and elbows. Dee scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Chugman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dee was well out of range. Poor timing from Chugman. Chugman shoots in for a takedown but Dee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Good standup being displayed there by Dee as he connects with a hook. Dee throws a hook but Chugman avoids it easily. Chugman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Chugman misses with a body shot.
Chugman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chugman showed some decent athleticism there. Dee has one foot on Chugman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dee misses with a low kick as Chugman jumps back. Chugman feinted with a counter takedown. Chugman gets the takedown into side control. Dee is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dee sneaks out the side door and pushes Chugman away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Dee throws a wild body kick that Chugman sees coming a mile off. Dee misses with a straight left. Chugman tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dee was well out of range. Poor timing from Chugman. Chugman misses the jab. Dee throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dee throws a body punch but Chugman moves out of range. Dee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Chugman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dee.

Chugman on the wrong end of a nice hook. Chugman throws a body shot but no joy. Dee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Chugman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaus Chugman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chugman looks to score with a jab to the body but Dee is just out of range.

Dee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dee throws a hook to the side of Chugman's head but Chugman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dee is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Jab, jab by Dee - just one landing. Chugman gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dee lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chugman backwards. Chugman trying to control the position but instead, Dee has worked for underhooks and has pushed Chugman into the cage. Dee misses with the head strike.

Chugman is trying to pull guard but Dee turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Dee working some nice short punches in the clinch. Dee misses with some punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dee. Dee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Klay Dee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dee scores with a kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Nice cross by Dee. Chugman is looking to wear down Dee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. The fighters circling - Dee throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Chugman misses with a takedown attempt - Dee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chugman just misses with a punch to the body.

Chugman staying out of range there. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jab from Dee. Klay Dee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Chugman tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dee defends well and Chugman ends up having to push Dee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dee working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Chugman tries to score a body lock takedown but Dee shows good agility there to stay on his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Klay Dee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. Dee lands a nice hook to Chugman's body. Chugman takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Dee throws a good cross that connects.
Chugman tries to clinch up. Dee stuffs the takedown attempt from Chugman. Chugman gets slowly back to his feet. Chugman clinches up with Dee and pushes him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chugman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Dee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chugman is looking to control Dee's arms but Dee gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chugman has his back to the cage. Chugman looking to slow down the pace here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dee misses with the head strike.
Chugman pulls guard effortlessly. Dee is stalling in the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chugman wants to control but Dee passes easily into half guard.
Dee wants to stand but Chugman has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Dee wants to free his trapped foot but Chugman is holding on for dear life with his legs. Chugman is looking to control Dee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chugman avoid being mounted? Chugman looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Chugman drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Chugman tries to free his leg and advance position but Dee is retaining full guard. Dee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Dee misses with a hook from the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Chugman is defending well. Dee doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dee. Dee lands a hook to the side of the head. Chugman turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chugman manages to end up in side control. Dee bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Dee darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Chugman closes the distance and clinches. Chugman blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Dee is leaning against Chugman and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Chugman tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Klaus Chugman. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chugman slips a jab from Dee. Dee lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Chugman fails with a takedown attempt. Dee appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Dee connects with a crisp jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Klay Dee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Dee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
