Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Ruas (ranked 428 p4p, 451 weight class) and Elric Wolfsbruder (ranked 12 p4p, 14 weight class). Wolfsbruder has chosen Cradel to the grave as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Elric Wolfsbruder!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Elric Wolfsbruder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Wolfsbruder leaves Ruas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Wolfsbruder only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Carlos Ruas's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Ruas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wolfsbruder.
Wolfsbruder is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ruas had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Ruas scores with a one two! Wolfsbruder had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Wolfsbruder throws out a counter right but Ruas avoids it with no problem.
Nice defenses there by Wolfsbruder.
Wolfsbruder lands with a nice combination. Ruas backs away looking to recover.

Jeez, Carlos Ruas's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Wolfsbruder takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ruas. Wolfsbruder does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wolfsbruder connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ruas. Ruas circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Carlos Ruas's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Elric Wolfsbruder!
Elric Wolfsbruder gave a mention to Hardcore Alchemy in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
Carlos Ruas was interviewed post fight and said 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
