Okafor lands with a straight right. Romero didn't see that one coming.
Romero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Okafor looks to land a left hand but Romero moved out of range nicely.
Okafor connects with the punch.
John Okafor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Okafor moves into range and connects with a jab.
Okafor scores with a nice head shot.

Okafor feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Romero sprawling to the canvas! Romero rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Okafor finish him?!

It looks like Yoel Romero has been cut.

Romero gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Okafor gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
