The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Augustus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Neuer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Augustus (2) vs (0) Neuer
Augustus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neuer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neuer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Augustus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Neuer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Neuer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Augustus manages to get himself to full guard.

Neuer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Augustus doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Augustus manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neuer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neuer is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Augustus frees his head nicely. Oh but Neuer has switched to an armbar! Augustus is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
