Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Manabino (ranked 25423 p4p, 25374 weight class) and Thicky Ricky (ranked 139 p4p, 208 weight class). Vaughn Manabino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vaughn Manabino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thicky Ricky! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manabino swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ricky tries to clinch there but Manabino circles away.
Manabino keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Manabino dives in and scores a takedown into Ricky's guard. Manabino stands up from guard. Let's bang! Ricky closes the distance looking to clinch and Manabino counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Manabino sitting in guard here, content to control. Ricky looking for a sweep. Not yet Ricky, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manabino is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Manabino really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ricky is looking to stand up but Manabino isn't so interested in that idea. Manabino stands up and waves to Ricky to follow him. Manabino scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manabino controlling the pace. Ricky has hold of Manabino's hands but Manabino slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Manabino perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Manabino is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ricky trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Manabino controlling the pace for now. Manabino will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Manabino lands a big shot there that rocks Ricky but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Manabino fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Manabino has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. This is a sustained period of stalling by Manabino. Manabino working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Ricky turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Manabino off and cradles Ricky's limp body as Manabino celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Vaughn Manabino! In his post fight interview, Vaughn Manabino gave a big smile as he said 'You all know that Sumo never loses. When facing me, it's always night-time!'.
