Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Myles (ranked 4094 p4p, 3207 weight class) and Greg Sharty (ranked 473 p4p, 401 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luca Myles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Sharty! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myles lands with a slapping head kick. Sharty changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Myles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sharty is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Myles's shoulder. That is not cool. Sharty's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Sharty cracks Myles with a big elbow. Sharty lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Myles down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Myles tries to bench press Sharty off him but Sharty keeps the position. Myles manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sharty slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sharty wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sharty is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sharty keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Myles's head. Myles controls Sharty momentarily but Sharty frees himself. Myles looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Sharty slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Sharty is working Myles over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sharty stays in close to Myles's body and controls the position. Myles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sharty is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Sharty showing good wrestling skills to control the position. It looks like Sharty might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Sharty postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Sharty seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Myles scores with a hook to the body. Sharty takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sharty. Sharty dodges the punch combination from Myles.
Sharty is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Myles. We've been told by Myles's head coaches at Average Joe’s Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sharty is trying hard to land a takedown here. Myles sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Myles throws a right and a left that Sharty avoids nicely. Sharty on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Myles misses with a combination
and Sharty counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sharty takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Sharty looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Myles with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Sharty controlling the pace. Sharty scoring with strikes to the body and head. Myles throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sharty takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Myles tries to kick Sharty off but Sharty keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sharty works his foot free and advances to mount. Sharty controlling from the full mount. Sharty is in the full mount, landing strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Greg Sharty will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sharty closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Myles quickly recovers to half guard. Sharty seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Myles on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sharty controlling the pace. Sharty working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Myles is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sharty scores with a couple of nice shots. Sharty has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Myles has hold of Sharty's hands but Sharty slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ground and pound from Sharty. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice strikes from Sharty there. Sharty not doing much here.

Myles is rocked! Sharty is nestled in close to Myles, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Oh Myles is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Sharty seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Sharty works his way into side control. You can see the frustration on Myles's face as Sharty controls the position. Sharty working the body and head with strikes. Sharty cracks Myles with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Sharty immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Myles is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Sharty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Sharty!
