Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock throws a sloppy head kick and Juana moves out of range easily.
Juana fails to land the takedown.
Babcock has closed the distance and engaged Juana in a clinch.
Babcock breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Juana blocks a head kick by Babcock.
Babcock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Juana drops back, looking for a kneebar! Babcock looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Babcock looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Babcock!
Juana tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Juana is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Babcock off and has taken his back!
Juana is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Babcock is defending well though. Juana let's go of the attempt for now.

Babcock manages to reverse the position and now he's in Juana's guard. Nice work there by Babcock.

Juana has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Babcock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Elias Babcock just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Juana checks a leg kick.

Babcock rushes Juana and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Juana tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Babcock smiles and moves away.

Babcock stands up and beckons Juana to his feet.
Babcock stalks Juana and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Juana's face. Juana staggers backwards, shaken.
Babcock fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Juana sprawls well initially but Babcock persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Juana is trying to get back to full guard.
Juana looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Babcock is taking a breather. Juana says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Juana is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

so Babcock counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Babcock here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Juana has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
