Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Long (ranked 3766 p4p, 6118 weight class) and Stefan King (ranked 381 p4p, 492 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ralph Long!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stefan King!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sloppy strikes from Long. Those never looked like landing.
King takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Stefan King has been cut.

King moves into the clinch.
King tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Long is leaning against King and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
King working aggressively here.
King misses with some punches.

Long is trying to trip King. He has hold of a leg but King is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Long persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

King wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Long manages to pass to side control.
Long is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
King is trying to stand up here but Long is controlling him well.

Long is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Long.
King misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Long looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Long.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Long decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
King lands a leg kick that knocks Long off balance momentarily.

Long darts in and clinches King up against the cage.
Long is leaning against King and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
King looks winded!
Long working some nice short punches in the clinch.

King blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
King is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Long is defending well for now.

Long manages to break the clinch.
Long connects with a right hand. King shakes it off.
King checks the leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Long. No joy for King on that attempt.
King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Long cracks King with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends King tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Long pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! King is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ralph Long!
Ralph Long seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
