Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Paris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Fried Slobberknacker! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paris throws a hook but Slobberknacker avoids it easily. Paris looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Paris stands up over Slobberknacker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Slobberknacker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paris postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Paris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Slobberknacker has momentary wrist control but Paris slips an elbow through the middle. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Paris accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paris passes easily into side control. Nice work. Paris landing strikes. Paris cracks Slobberknacker with a big elbow. Paris is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Slobberknacker's shoulder. That is not cool. Paris in side control lands a decent elbow. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Slobberknacker managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Paris.
Slobberknacker takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Slobberknacker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Paris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Paris just content to control the position. Paris throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slobberknacker is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Paris wants to control but Slobberknacker is keeping him busy. Paris looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Slobberknacker is avoiding damage well.
Paris lands some shots froms side control. Paris is working Slobberknacker over with some ground and pound from side control. Paris controls the position. Slobberknacker is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Paris is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paris staying calm. Paris lands a few punches from side control. Paris working the body and head with strikes. Slobberknacker is working to avoid the ground and pound but Paris connects with a decent elbow.
It looks like Fried Slobberknacker has been cut. Paris working the head and body with strikes.
Slobberknacker is rocked! Paris cracks Slobberknacker with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Paris immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Slobberknacker is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Paris!
