Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Bangsit (ranked 90 p4p, 97 weight class) and Scotty Bapp (ranked 15 p4p, 18 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 24 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Scotty Bapp!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.

Bapp throws a hook but Bangsit avoids it easily.
Bapp misses with a hook.
Bangsit half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bapp lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bapp leaves Bangsit with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bangsit moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bapp misses with a looping right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bapp throws a jab when Bangsit was well out of range.

As Bapp tries to get set, Bangsit tries to push him back and clinch up but Bapp manages to avoid the attempt.

Bangsit on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Bangsit throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bapp tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bangsit is in Bapp's guard.
Bapp controls Bangsit momentarily but Bangsit frees himself.
Bangsit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bapp holds on and takes a little breather.
Bangsit postures up in Bapp's guard and throws a big left but Bapp blocks it.

Bangsit is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bapp working for a triangle but Bangsit defends it easily.
Bangsit has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bangsit trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bangsit sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bapp's guard.

Bangsit seems to be looking for submissions.
Bapp is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bangsit wants to work for an arm triangle but Bapp is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bapp is doing well to control the position and prevent Bangsit from advancing to side control.

Bangsit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bapp is just riding it out for now. Bangsit eventually gives up the hold.

Bapp takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bangsit is squirming around, avoiding Bapp's attempts to control the action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scotty Bapp dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bangsit uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bapp.
Bapp wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bapp throws a body punch but Bangsit moves out of range.
Bapp misses the jab.

and Bangsit counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bapp!

Bapp tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bangsit wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Bapp is trying to control Bangsit's posture but Bangsit avoids it.

Bapp tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bangsit presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Bangsit lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Bangsit with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Bangsit is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bapp is surviving well by controlling Bangsit's body position as best he can.
Bapp sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Bangsit throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Bapp makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bapp.

Bapp has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bangsit doesn't defend quickly enough and Bapp has managed to lock this one up! Can Bangsit escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bapp on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Scotty Bapp!
After winning the bout, Scotty Bapp thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
