Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nadim Tutek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Angle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nadim Tutek!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Angle drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tutek looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Angle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Angle lands a couple of digs.
Angle slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Tutek is controlling Angle's posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Angle stays in close to Tutek's body and controls the position.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kurt Angle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Tutek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Angle drives through and clinches with Tutek against the cage.

Angle wants the takedown. Tutek is fighting it off but Angle persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tutek's guard against the cage.
Angle working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tutek's head.
Tutek can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angle controls the pace.

Angle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Angle has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Angle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Angle is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tutek is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Angle's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kurt Angle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

Angle has taken the fight to the clinch.
Angle is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tutek gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Angle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Angle manages to end up in side control.
Angle moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Angle is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tutek has escaped the position, nice work there.

Angle is trying to get an arm triangle but Tutek is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kurt Angle dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Angle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Angle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tutek takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tutek tries to hold on but Angle postures up.

Angle sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Kurt Angle just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Tutek uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Angle.

Angle scores a takedown into full mount!
Angle controlling the pace for now.

Angle looking to secure an arm triangle but Tutek defends it well.
Angle looking to control and managing it successfully.
Kurt Angle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kurt Angle showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Angle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
