Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Veidt throws a poor cross that misses
letting Volkan counter with a right hand.
Volkan moves out of range as Veidt strikes.
Volkan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Veidt's coach down at The Pit was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Veidt's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Volkan is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Volkan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Veidt fails to land with a series of punches.
Volkan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Volkan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Veidt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Veidt tests Volkan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Veidt takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Veidt tries to clinch but Volkan is having none of it.
Volkan throws a body punch but Veidt moves out of range.
Veidt throws a hook to the side of Volkan's head but Volkan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Volkan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Volkan.
Veidt tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Volkan's elbow.

Volkan throws a knee to the head but misses.
Veidt doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Volkan is breathing heavily.
Veidt throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Volkans head.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Veidt dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
BOOM! Veidt lands a beautiful left hook that drops Volkan. Volkan tries to recover but Veidt is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Volkan lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
