Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Escobarre (ranked 1776 p4p, 2642 weight class) and Ret Ired (ranked 222 p4p, 321 weight class). Escobarre comes to the cage accompanied by Xzibit- Alcoholic . Ret Ired has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pablo Escobarre! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ret Ired! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobarre gets tackled into the cage by Ired. Ired maintains the clinch. Escobarre can't find room to land a body shot as Ired controls the action.
Ired pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Escobarre swats away the attempt to clinch by Ired. A little feinted left hand from Escobarre on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Ired shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ired was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Escobarre sneaks back into half guard. Ired throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Escobarre works his way to full guard. Good work. Escobarre is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Escobarre looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ired got a little sloppy there for a moment and Escobarre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ired has managed to get both his arms back between Escobarre's legs - danger averted. Escobarre pulls Ired in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Escobarre wants to sweep here but Ired controlling him for the moment. Ired throwing strikes but missing. Escobarre looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ired cracks Escobarre with a solid left hand. Ired won't allow Escobarre to sweep him here. Escobarre is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Ired rolls with it to try and escape but Escobarre cranks on the arm and Ired is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Pablo Escobarre! After winning the bout, Pablo Escobarre thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
