Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Usaamah Ario (ranked 4842 p4p, 5063 weight class) and Damian Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 531 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

Ario darts in trying to clinch
and Rose decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ario's guard.
Ario has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Rose is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Rose wants to take the fight to the mat but Ario manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Rose turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ario tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ario has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rose bucks up and tries to throw Ario off but instead Ario has got his back!

and Rose counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rose.

Ario pushes Rose off and scrambles back to his feet.
Ario shoots for a double leg takedown but Rose sprawls well. He's pushed Ario's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rose looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ario with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rose connects with a nice short shot to Ario's temple.

Rose loads up on a big left hand. Ario felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Rose looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ario can't hide his disappointment, as Rose celebrates the victory.
