Bear takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bear is defended easily by Gonya.
Bear tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gonya defends well and Bear ends up having to push Gonya into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bear shoots in and drives through. Gonya sprawls well.
Despite the aggression on Gonya's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Bear. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bear shoots in looking for a takedown but Gonya manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bear's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gonya tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Bear tries for a takedown but Gonya sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gonya is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Chief Bear seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonya rushes Bear and presses him up against the cage.
Gonya has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bear clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gonya looking to break Bear's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bear remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Gonya will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gonya sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Bear taps out!

In his post fight interview, Ronaldo Gonya started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
