Rousseau comes into the arena with Back in Black blaring out of the sound system. Chan has chosen Burn in my light as his entrance music. LP Chan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Rousseau gets a takedown into half guard.
Chan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Rousseau works his way into full mount!
Rousseau looking to finish Chan with some ground and pound. This is bad for Chan!
Rousseau tries to control but Chan wriggling away.
Chan working to try and regain half guard.
Chan flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.

Rousseau has control of Chan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rousseau is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Chan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Chan shrugs it off.
Chan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rousseau . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rousseau is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chan has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Chan is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Rousseau can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Chan is looking to escape.

Rousseau looking to isolate an arm here. Chan doesn't see it coming and as Rousseau extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Rousseau !

Bobby Rousseau was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
LP Chan spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be back. I will be back better prepared for my next fight. '.
