Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sky Genie (ranked 24800 p4p, 25030 weight class) and John Kingsley (ranked 693 p4p, 700 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kingsley's choice of entrance music: Razor Town Rising. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Genie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kingsley with the counter takedown but Genie avoids it easily.

Kingsley is nestled in close to Genie, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Genie throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Kingsley manages to pass to side control.
Genie wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Genie is not content to let Kingsley control the position.
Kingsley lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Genie down.

Kingsley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Genie is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Oh Genie is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Genie is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Kingsley scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Genie is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Kingsley can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
