Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geryon Macropus (ranked 6327 p4p, 25070 weight class) and Bon Scott (ranked 528 p4p, 576 weight class). Bon Scott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.

Scott keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Macropus.
Macropus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Scott, pushing him back against the cage.
Macropus lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Bon Scott has been cut.
Scott avoids a wild elbow strike from Macropus.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Macropus lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Scott is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Macropus is defending well.

Geryon Macropus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bon Scott.

Scott is trying to drag Macropus to the mat but Macropus just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Scott goes for a takedown attempt but Macropus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Scott shoots in but no luck this time.

Bon Scott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Macropus wants to slow Scott down by chopping away at his legs.

Scott with the counter takedown but Macropus avoids it easily.

Scott is trying hard to land a takedown here. Macropus sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Macropus tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Scott paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Scott closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Macropus to the mat! Macropus manages to get full guard.
Macropus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Macropus tries to get out of the position.
Scott tries to free his leg and advance position but Macropus is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Macropus wants to sweep here but Scott controlling him for the moment.
Macropus definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Scott postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Macropus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Scott accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Macropus is trying to keep Scott in close.
Macropus had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Scott defends it easily.

Macropus looking to hit a scissor sweep but Scott is one step ahead there.
Scott is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Scott working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Scott with a nice head shot there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Macropus has momentary wrist control but Scott slips an elbow through the middle.
Scott won't allow Macropus to sweep him here.
Scott scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Scott is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Macropus is breathing heavily.
Scott drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Scott seems to have locked his on tight now - Macropus screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Scott, as he picks up the win!

After winning the bout, Bon Scott thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
