PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Brown (ranked 1683 p4p, 718 weight class) and Rasmus Reedtz (ranked 211 p4p, 91 weight class). Brown comes into the arena with CCR - Bad Moon Rising blaring out of the sound system. Rasmus Reedtz acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rasmus Reedtz!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

Brown working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reedtz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reedtz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brown can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reedtz controls the pace.
Reedtz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Brown turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brown manages to end up in side control.

Reedtz sneaks out the side door and pushes Brown away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Reedtz has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Reedtz manages to pass to side control!

Rasmus Reedtz showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well Reedtz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
