Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kongchai Phetboonme (ranked 719 p4p, 1092 weight class) and Long Thai (ranked 87 p4p, 142 weight class). Phetboonme comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Thai's coach down at Crapollas Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Thai's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Phetboonme is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Phetboonme lands a left and a right that send Thai crashing to the mat, dazed. Phetboonme thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Phetboonme circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Thai to the canvas! Thai doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Phetboonme keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kongchai Phetboonme!
After winning the bout, Kongchai Phetboonme thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
