Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 310 p4p, 397 weight class) and Kidney Stone (ranked 25 p4p, 26 weight class). Yeboah's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lionel Richie - All Night Long. Stone has chosen Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord as his entrance music. Sambulo Yeboah has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 36 - 32 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sambulo Yeboah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kidney Stone!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yeboah shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Yeboah. Yeboah gets slowly back to his feet.
Yeboah has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Yeboah fails with the takedown.

Yeboah closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yeboah lands in his opponent's guard.

Yeboah drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stone dives on top into guard.

Yeboah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stone is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Stone wants to control from the top but Yeboah keeps moving.

Yeboah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stone defends well.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yeboah swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Yeboah shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yeboah's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Yeboah is defended easily by Stone.
Horrible takedown attempt by Yeboah or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone, which made it look bad.

Yeboah closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Yeboah pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Stone feints a counter leg kick.
Yeboah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stone tries to avoid it but Yeboah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stone to the ground. Stone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yeboah shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side.
A little jabbing left from Stone on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Yeboah changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Yeboah tries to advance to mount but Stone denies him.

Yeboah thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone tries to improve position but can't.
Stone is trying to buck Yeboah off.

Yeboah looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Stone is trying to control Yeboah's posture but Yeboah avoids it.
Yeboah tries to move to mount but Stone blocks the move with his legs.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stone stops Yeboah from passing to mount.
Stone gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Stone is trying to get back to full guard.
Stone preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Yeboah trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom.

Yeboah looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Yeboah tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A lull in the action here.

Yeboah swings around for an armbar but Stone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Yeboah's guard.
Stone passes into half guard.
Stone is thwarting Yeboah's attempts to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stone is keen to just control but Yeboah is a slippery customer.

Kidney Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yeboah wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stone, who protects the arm well.

Kidney Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Yeboah is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Stone is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Stone is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Yeboah off and has taken his back!

I would just about give that final round to Kidney Stone.
Well Stone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
