Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andre Mahesa (ranked 3176 p4p, 3655 weight class) and Funky Colemadina (ranked 171 p4p, 189 weight class). Mahesa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is You're Going Down . Colemadina has chosen immortal by adema as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Mahesa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Funky Colemadina! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mahesa takes the fight into the clinch. Mahesa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Colemadina has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mahesa throws a right hand that Colemadina ducks under and follows up with a left that Colemadina also avoids with ease. Mahesa misses with a wild combination.
Mahesa pushes Colemadina up against the cage in a clinch. Colemadina dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Mahesa pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice takedown defense from Mahesa. No joy for Colemadina on that attempt. Mahesa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Colemadina closes the distance looking to clinch and Mahesa counters with a three punch combo that has Colemadina backing up. Colemadina nods at Mahesa to acknowledge the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mahesa connects with a body shot that sends Colemadina's belly button to the back. Mahesa connects with a looping right hand.
Mahesa lands the left hand. Colemadina throws a head kick that misses and Colemadina takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Mahesa lands with a nice body punch. Mahesa misses with a wild combination.
Colemadina steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mahesa. The crowd cheers as Mahesa lands an impressive looking overhand right. Colemadina doesn't seem phased though. Mahesa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Mahesa throws a right and a left that Colemadina avoids nicely. Colemadina is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A decent looking cross lands there for Mahesa. Mahesa lands a two punch combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colemadina throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mahesa's waist but Mahesa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Colemadina off to one side. Mahesa throws a one two combo.
Colemadina fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Andre Mahesa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Funky Colemadina. A jab-cross combination lands for Mahesa and sends Colemadina crashing to the mat! Mahesa follows him down to the mat - Colemadina regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Colemadina is rocked! Mahesa scoring with strikes to the body and head. Colemadina is still in real trouble! Can Mahesa finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mahesa is looking for a kimura here.

Colemadina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mahesa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mahesa is trying to control. Colemadina wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Colemadina seems to have recovered his senses. Mahesa is looking for a kimura but Colemadina is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mahesa to get the leverage. Colemadina is not content to let Mahesa control the position. Colemadina is looking to control Mahesa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Colemadina avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mahesa is trying to control the action in half guard but Colemadina is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Mahesa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Mahesa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mahesa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Mahesa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colemadina's head. Mahesa is working for a kimura but Colemadina is defending it quite comfortably.
Mahesa is looking to take a break and control but Colemadina is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Colemadina wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Colemadina is holding on to half guard well. Mahesa seems to be looking for submissions.
Mahesa controlling the pace. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Colemadina can do anything to dispel that myth. Mahesa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Colemadina is defending against the submission attempts here by Mahesa.
Colemadina tries to get to full guard but Mahesa has control of the leg. Mahesa drops an elbow to the side of Colemadina's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andre Mahesa dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Colemadina takes one to the side of the head.
Mahesa clinches up against the cage. Mahesa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Colemadina.
Mahesa gets through Colemadina's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Colemadina has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mahesa avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Colemadina is trying to force a seperation but Mahesa has the dominant position. Mahesa is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Mahesa breaks from the clinch.
A right-left combo lands from Mahesa. Mahesa gets a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mahesa just misses with a elbow thrown towards Colemadina's brow. Colemadina tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mahesa just stands there and leans against the cage. Mahesa lands a body punch in the clinch. Mahesa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Mahesa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mahesa lands a left and a right that sends Colemadina crashing to the canvas! Mahesa dives into mount looking to finish! Mahesa wants to control the pace but Colemadina is squirming around nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colemadina tries to reverse the position but Mahesa maintains control. The referee warns Colemadina that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mahesa postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Colemadina is out cold - huge knockout for Mahesa!
