The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

and Kowalkiewicz counters by moving into the clinch.

Kowalkiewicz wants the takedown. Hedegaard is fighting it off but Kowalkiewicz persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hedegaard's guard against the cage.
