Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Fury (ranked 1819 p4p, 2789 weight class) and Ken Tanaka (ranked 214 p4p, 311 weight class). Tanaka has chosen Sucker for Pain as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Fury connects with a body shot that sends Tanaka's belly button to the back.

Tanaka has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tanaka lunges at Fury with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fury's hand.
Tanaka feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Furys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Tanaka throws out a powerful jab.

Tanaka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fury sprawling to the canvas! Fury rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tanaka finish him?!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fury lands a big head kick that sends Tanaka tumbling to the mat! Fury takes a step backwards and waves Tanaka back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Fury with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Fury drops Tanaka with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tanaka looks back up at him and smiles so Fury waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Tanaka let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Tanaka scores with the left hand. Fury knows he should have avoided that one.
Tanaka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fury throws a looping overhand right but Tanaka ducks down to avoid it.

and Tanaka counters with a crisp one two that drops Fury! Tanaka thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Fury to his feet! Fury is in big trouble!
Oh Fury is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fury lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Fury ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

That was a close round but I would say that Nick Fury will probably get the nod.

A very excited looking Nick Fury made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Ken Tanaka spoke after the fight, saying 'I need a snack.'.
