Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zhan Dhelan (ranked 1251 p4p, 762 weight class) and Juan Pique (ranked 150 p4p, 105 weight class). Pique is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Piranha. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zhan Dhelan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Juan Pique!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

Dhelan throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Pique counter with a right hand.
Dhelan goes for a double leg but Pique avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Pique continues to drive forward.
Pique tries a quick counter leg kick but Dhelan is wise to it.
Pique connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Dhelan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pique.

Pique is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Pique throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Dhelan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pique swivels and escapes.
Pique looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dhelan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Pique has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zhan Dhelan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A slow jab from Dhelan misses its intended target.
Dhelan throws an off balance right hand
and Pique counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pique stuns Dhelan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pique scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dhelan doesn't seem bothered though.
Dhelan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pique is fending him off so far but Dhelan persists. Nope, Pique circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhan Dhelan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pique wants to improve his position but Dhelan is controlling well.
