Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ralphie White (ranked 4699 p4p, 2856 weight class) and Roy Benavidez (ranked 527 p4p, 366 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ralphie White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roy Benavidez!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.

It appears White was looking to counter with a kick there.

White definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

White shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Benavidez but Benavidez pushes him off and we're back to square one.
White uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Ralphie White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Benavidez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts White as he jumps to the side.
White quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ralphie White will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!

White gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A very excited looking Roy Benavidez rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
