With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Kendo Hirigushi!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

Conan scores with a nice head shot.
Conan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hirigushi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Conan lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
We've been hearing reports that Conan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Conan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Edward Conan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hirigushi has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Hirigushi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Conan.
Conan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Conan takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hirigushi goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
A slow jab from Hirigushi misses its intended target.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Conan looks to land a combination but Hirigushi avoids it well.

Conan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Conan doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hirigushi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Hirigushi takes a swing at Conan's ribcage but misses.

Hirigushi drops Conan with a beautiful combination! Conan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hirigushi is looking for the KO!

and Hirigushi scores with a counter punch that sends Conan to the canvas! Hirigushi smells blood - he's punishing Conan with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Conan has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kendo Hirigushi!
In his post fight interview, Kendo Hirigushi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
