Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jacob Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Casper Blackwater!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

No luck for Blackwater with that takedown attempt.
Blackwater dives in for a single leg takedown but Smith sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
It looked like Smith was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Smith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Blackwater to the ground. Smith is now in Blackwater's guard.
Blackwater has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.
Blackwater is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.
Blackwater throws his legs up looking for a submission but Smith uses it to pass to side control.
Blackwater tries to bench press Smith off him but Smith keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackwater sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Smith in particular looking to stall.

Smith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smith wants to free his trapped foot but Blackwater is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Smith seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Blackwater for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Blackwater, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Blackwater against the cage but Blackwater circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Blackwater shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Smith tries to counter by clinching up but Blackwater breaks away and moves out of range.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Smith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blackwater manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Blackwater has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Smith escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Smith!

Blackwater is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Blackwater postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Smith is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blackwater, into his guard.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Smith is in close to Blackwater's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Smith is posturing up here but Blackwater has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Smith tries to roll out but it's too tight and Smith has to tap! Slick submission there by Blackwater!
