Thomas connects with a quick right hand that sends Kayy tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!

After winning the bout, Derrick Thomas thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
