Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JP Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Quinlan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels comes to the cage accompanied by Bottom of a Bottle by Smile Empty Soul. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JP Daniels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Quinlan!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinlan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Daniels's waist but Daniels gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quinlan off to one side.
Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Quinlan shoots in but no luck this time.
Quinlan looks for a takedown but Daniels sprawls well.
JP Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Quinlan.
Some wild striking there from Daniels.
Daniels throws a nice looking combination but Quinlan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Daniels misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Quinlan avoids the head kick by Daniels.
Daniels throws a series of punches but Quinlan avoids them all with ease.
Daniels misses with a hook. Quinlan ducked under it nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Quinlan.
Quinlan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Quinlan shoots in and drives through. Daniels sprawls well.
Quinlan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniels pinned against the cage. Daniels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Quinlan looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quinlan closes the distance and clinches up with Daniels, looking for a takedown. Quinlan pushes Daniels against the cage but Daniels circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Daniels.
Daniels lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Daniels connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Quinlan to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Daniels!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). JP Daniels!
