Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Little Druida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghost Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ghost Emelianenko has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Little Druida's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Little Druida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ghost Emelianenko ! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Emelianenko stands up out of the half guard. Druida scores with a takedown into Emelianenko 's guard. Emelianenko pulls Druida in close to his closed guard and prevents Druida from doing any damage or advancing position. Emelianenko looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Emelianenko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Druida is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Emelianenko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Druida's back instead. Druida trying to control the position but Emelianenko manages to sink in the hooks. Druida is keeping busy.
Druida manages to reverse the position and now he's in Emelianenko 's guard. Nice work there by Druida.
Emelianenko is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Emelianenko looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Emelianenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Druida can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Druida tries to free his leg and advance position but Emelianenko is retaining full guard. Druida slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Druida in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. An elbow from Druida crashes against the mat.
Emelianenko is not content to let Druida control the position. Druida working the ground and pound but Emelianenko is defending the strikes. Druida is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Emelianenko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Emelianenko can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Emelianenko tries to buck Druida off but Druida is having none of it. Druida has an Americana. Emelianenko didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Druida is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Druida hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Little Druida!
