The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hawthorne.
Archy Banks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawthorne lands a head kick. Banks smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Archy Banks has been cut.
Hawthorne lands a jab to Banks's midsection.
Banks misses with a wild body shot.

and Hawthorne counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hawthorne sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Banks's defenses. It connects perfectly with Banks's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
