Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jat Upp (ranked 4500 p4p, 24095 weight class) and Tu Winh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jat Upp! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tu Winh! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Francis DeMontford and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Upp lands a jab to Winh's midsection. Horrible takedown attempt by Winh or perhaps it was just good defense by Upp, which made it look bad. Upp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As Upp backs off Winh throws a huge counter combo but Upp manages to avoid it all. Winh tries to clinch up and Upp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. A head kick by Winh misses and Upp counters with a three punch combo that has Winh backing up. Winh nods at Upp to acknowledge the strikes. Upp tries to close the distance and clinch but Winh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Winh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Upp moves into the clinch. Winh drops down looking for an ankle pick but Upp pulls his leg out and moves away.
Winh shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Upp pinned against the cage. Upp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jat Upp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tu Winh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Upp with a lazy takedown attempt and Winh counters with a crisp one two that drops Upp! Winh thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Upp to his feet! Upp is in big trouble! Winh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Upp avoids it really well and circles away. Winh tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Upp swivels and escapes. Upp fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Upp misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Upp tries to clinch there but Winh circles away.
Upp changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Winh tries to avoid it but Upp manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Winh to the ground. Winh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Upp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winh. Upp closes this distance looking for a takedown but Winh circles away. Upp is breathing heavily. Winh shoots in for a double leg but Upp sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Upp darts in looking for a takedown but Winh gets double underhooks and turns Upp into the cage. Winh throws a right and a left that Upp avoids nicely. Upp throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Winh counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Upp looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Upp is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Winh is aware though and is defending well. Upp can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Winh controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Upp is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Winh defends well. Winh cracks Upp with a solid left hand. Winh sitting in guard here, content to control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Winh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Upp throws Winh to one side and escapes!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Upp fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Winh unleashes a big counter combination but Upp bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Winh will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Winh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Upp counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Winh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Upp avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jat Upp will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Upp is trying hard to land a takedown here. Winh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Winh thinks about the counter body kick. Winh fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Upp avoids it really well and circles away. Upp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Winh but Winh pushes him off and we're back to square one. Upp tries to clinch up but Winh circles away and keeps his distance. Winh keeps the fight on the outside. Winh closes the distance but Upp moves to the side and Upp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winh shoots in and drives through. Upp sprawls well. Upp tries to clinch up. Winh stuffs the takedown attempt from Upp. Upp gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jat Upp. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Winh shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Winh showed some decent athleticism there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winh missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Upp is not content to let Winh control the position. Upp gets back to full guard.
Winh postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winh trying to control but Upp is working from the bottom. Winh landing some decent shots from guard. Upp has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Winh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Winh throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Winh trying to control the position from guard on top but Upp is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Winh makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Upp tries to land a sweep but no joy. Upp trying to keep a closed guard but Winh is proving a slippery customer.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Upp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winh.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Winh fails with the takedown. Upp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Winh. Winh with a lazy takedown attempt and Upp counters by clinching up. Upp is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Winh is defending well for now. Upp lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Winh or not. Winh jumps guard but Upp turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Winh is trying to push Upp away but Upp has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A short uppercut from Upp. Winh changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Upp fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Upp lands a slapping body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jat Upp dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Upp misses with a low kick.
Winh tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Winh. Upp misses with a takedown attempt and Winh counters with a huge head kick that drops Upp! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tu Winh!
