PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pork Chop (ranked 4119 p4p, 4261 weight class) and Charles Foster (ranked 420 p4p, 434 weight class). Foster has chosen Nuclear Power Trio - A Clear and Present Rager as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pork Chop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Foster!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chop clinches up against the cage.
Chop misses with a punch to the body.
Chop lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

It looks like Charles Foster has been cut.
A short right from Chop.
Foster has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Chop avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Foster jumps into guard, dragging Chop to the mat.

Foster working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Chop has passed into half guard!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chop decides to return to a standing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chop tries to avoid it but Foster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chop to the ground. Chop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Chop swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Chop instigates a clinch.
Chop lands with a left to the head.
Foster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Chop as Foster tries to tie him up.
Chop lands a body punch in the clinch.
Foster looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Foster is trying to pull guard but Chop has him pressed against the cage.
Pork Chop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charles Foster.
Chop scores with a hook to the body.
Chop scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Chop stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Chop working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Chop lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Foster backwards.
Chop pushes Foster back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Foster is rocked!
Chop lands a big right hand that drops Foster! The killer instinct kicks in and Chop finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Chop!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pork Chop!
