Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Totters (ranked 6253 p4p, 3276 weight class) and Ryan Decker (ranked 608 p4p, 407 weight class). Totters comes into the arena with 4 6 8 blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Totters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Decker! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Decker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Decker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Totters gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Totters gets full guard. Totters is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Decker is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Totters isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Decker stacks Totters on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Decker! Totters looks to move to half guard but instead Decker has passed into mount! Damn! Totters tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Totters is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Decker. Totters shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Decker as he avoids it easily. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Decker wants it to stay on the feet. Decker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Totters could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Totters tries for a takedown but Decker manages to get underhooks.
Decker is pushing Totters up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Totters has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Decker avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Totters tries to score a body lock takedown but Decker shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Decker lands a body punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Decker tightens his grip and picks Totters up, before dumping him to the ground. Totters manages to land in guard. Totters trying to control the position.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Totters staying out of range there. Totters tries to counter by clinching up but Decker breaks away and moves out of range. Decker throws a poor cross that misses
and Totters counters with a nice double leg into guard. Totters trying to control but Decker is working from the bottom. Decker controlling Totters's posture. Totters trying to control the position from guard on top but Decker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Totters is looking to pass into half guard but Decker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Decker is in guard.

No, Decker has managed to get both his arms back between Totters's legs - danger averted. Totters looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Decker passes into side control.

Decker is looking to take a break and control but Totters is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Decker lands an elbow. Totters tries to improve position but can't. Totters manages to get back to half guard. Decker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Totters keeps working. Decker wants to pass to mount but Totters is defending the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Totters is not content to let Decker control the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Decker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Totters shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Decker as he jumps to the side. Mark Totters has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ryan Decker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Decker closes the distance and clinches. Decker stalling in the clinch.
