Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Bowen Jr (ranked 2382 p4p, 3794 weight class) and Loukas Kouyialis (ranked 281 p4p, 408 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Kouyialis misses with a body shot.
It looked like Bowen Jr was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kouyialis.
Bowen Jr misses with an uppercut.
Kouyialis jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Bowen Jr throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kouyialis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Kouyialis tries to work over Bowen Jr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Loukas Kouyialis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bowen Jr throws a lazy right hand but Kouyialis sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kouyialis cracks Bowen Jr on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Bowen Jr falls backwards against the cage. Kouyialis follows up with more strikes that drop Bowen Jr to his knees. Kouyialis keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Bowen Jr! This one is all over!
