Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Dixon (ranked 676 p4p, 1003 weight class) and Tree Fortay (ranked 76 p4p, 114 weight class). Fortay has chosen The Choice Is Yours as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Dixon has picked Fortay up - he's going for a ride! Dixon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dixon got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fortay has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dixon has managed to get both his arms back between Fortay's legs - danger averted.
Dixon content to stall in guard here.
Dixon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fortay for as long as he can get away with.

Fortay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dixon can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fortay can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dixon controls the pace.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dixon tries to free his leg and advance position but Fortay is retaining full guard.

Fortay is looking for a sweep. Dixon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dixon seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Fortay is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
