Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Muller (ranked 1767 p4p, 1536 weight class) and Ken Tanaka (ranked 202 p4p, 175 weight class). Muller comes to the cage accompanied by In the Hall of the Mountain King. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tanaka's choice of entrance music: Sucker for Pain. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wolfgang Muller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
As Tanaka backs away, Muller returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Muller looks to land a body kick but Tanaka moved away.
Muller buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Muller lands a really nice looking cross but Tanaka seems unphased.
Muller throws a leg kick which misses Tanaka's front leg but catches the back leg as Tanaka tries to avoid it.
Muller lands a jab to the nose.
Tanaka scores with a hook to the body. Muller takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Tanaka blocks the body kick.
Muller looks to score with a jab to the body but Tanaka is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanaka misses with a hook. Muller ducked under it nicely.
Muller half committed to a counter leg kick.
Muller misses with a low kick.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tanaka! But no joy.
Muller takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Muller walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Muller uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tanaka.
It looked like Muller was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tanaka.
Tanaka swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Tanaka backs away, Muller returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Muller avoids the body shot from Tanaka.
Muller is looking to counter punch.
A swing and a miss from Tanaka.
Tanaka has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Muller.

A shot to the liver by Tanaka. Beautiful body shot.
Tanaka throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Muller on the side of the head.
It looks like Wolfgang Muller has been cut.
Tanaka connects with a single shot there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muller scores with a punch to the head.
Tanaka misses with a straight left.
Muller feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Tanaka looks to score with a jab to the body but Muller is just out of range.
Muller swings widly with a right hand
and Tanaka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Muller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tanaka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tanaka feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Muller sprawling to the canvas! Muller rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tanaka finish him?!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tanaka throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Muller counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Muller bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tanaka has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Tanaka throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Muller on the side of the head.
Muller gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tanaka.
Tanaka throws a jab when Muller was well out of range.

and Muller counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tanaka! Muller lets Tanaka back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Tanaka is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Muller went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Muller cracks Tanaka with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tanaka looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Muller finish him?
Tanaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Muller finish him?
It looks like Ken Tanaka has been cut.
Tanaka leaves his chin hanging out and Muller seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Tanaka crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wolfgang Muller!
A very excited looking Wolfgang Muller rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Ken Tanaka was interviewed post fight and said 'I need a snack.'.
