Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Goose !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 37 - 26 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Dammon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Goose loads up on a big right hand but Dammon slips the punch.
Goose throws a hook but Dammon blocks it.
Dammon moves out of range of the body kick from Goose .
Goose lands the left hand.
Goose ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dammon moves away.
Dammon with the counter takedown but Goose avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dammon drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Goose defends it well.

Goose lands with a cross.

Dammon tries to keep at a distance but Goose has taken the fight into the clinch.
Dammon blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dammon is trying to drag Goose to the mat but Goose just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Goose prevents the takedown attempt.
Goose has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dammon goes for a takedown attempt but Goose pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Kyle Goose has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Dammon.
Dammon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Goose .

Goose cracks Dammon with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Goose has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dammon to stand back up!

Dammon is rocked!

It looks like Matt Dammon has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Goose throws an uppercut from hell that sends Dammon clean off his feet! He's out cold! Goose stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
