The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinales moves away from the strike by Switzer.
Pinales bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pinales shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Switzer sprawls well. Switzer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pinales gets slowly back to his feet.
Switzer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Pinales closes this distance looking for a takedown but Switzer circles away.

Pinales tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pinales has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pinales swings around for an armbar but Switzer sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pinales's guard.
Switzer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Pinales pushes a forearm under Switzer's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Switzer is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
