Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Quin (ranked 746 p4p, 1057 weight class) and Gustavo Fring (ranked 99 p4p, 142 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Quin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gustavo Fring! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fring misses with a body shot.
Fring throws out a powerful jab. Fring lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fring takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Gustavo Fring has been cut. A big left from Quin misses. Fring misses with a head kick.
Fring lands with a good body shot. Fring throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Fring misses with a wild body shot. Fring wants to land a leg kick but Quin is out of range. Fring connects with a jab. Fring lands with a slapping head kick. We've been informed that Fring has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quin missing with a left hand there. Fring was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Quin backing away here, and Fring unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Fring is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fring throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quin sees it coming and avoids it easily. Fring darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Quin swings for the body but Fring moves out of range.
Fring lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A low kick from Fring is predictable there letting Quin counter with a right hand. Quin moves away from the strike by Fring. Quin throws a poor cross that misses
and Fring counters with a nice uppercut. Fring throws a body kick that misses. Fring takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Fring scores with a jab to the jaw. Fring throws a low kick but it's checked well by Quin. Fring throws an off balance right hand
and Quin counters with a right hand to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Quin scores with a jab to the body. Quin looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Fring looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Fring ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fring is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Quin misses with a straight left. Fring looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Fring throws a low kick, looking for Quin's leg but Quin calmly moves out of range. Fring chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Quin fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fring looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Fring throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Quin with a body punch. A glancing blow. Fring throws a combination that misses and Quin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A looping hook to the body misses from Fring. Quin does a little dance to reset his feet. Fring slips under a jab. Fring cracks Quin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Quin throws a hook but Fring blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters circle momentarily. Fring darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Fring punishes Quin's body with a nice straight punch. Quin takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Quin takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Fring connects with an inside leg kick. Quin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fring is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Quin. Fring wants to slow Quin down by chopping away at his legs. Quin appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Fring is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Quin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush. Fring tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Quin was well out of range. Poor timing from Fring. Fring misses with an uppercut. Quin throws a sloppy head kick and Fring moves out of range easily. Fring scores with a jab to the head.
Quin lands a really nice looking cross but Fring seems unphased.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fring blocks a jab. Fring misses the shot to the body. Fring doesn't manage to clinch there - Quin circles away.
Jab from Quin. Quin misses with a looping right. A big left from Fring misses. An attempted straight right counter from Quin misses the target. Fring wants to clinch. Quin misses with a straight left. Fring looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Quin tests Fring's chin there with a solid looking shot. Fring misses with a double jab.
Fring tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. A little feinted left hand from Quin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fring throws a leg kick that misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gustavo Fring dominated that round. The cut man is working on Gustavo Fring's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Fring moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Fring tried to score with a low kick but Quin checks it. Quin misses with a body shot.
Fring moves into the clinch successfully.
Quin avoids the elbow strike from Fring, against the cage.
Quin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fring throws a nice looking combination but Quin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Quin takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Quin works the jab nicely. Fring throws a left and a right that both miss
and Quin counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Fring misses with the combination.
Quin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Quin sends Fring crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Quin is motioning to the referee to let Fring up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fring is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fring thows a left - swing and a miss! Quin throwing a counter right hand but Fring manages to avoid it. Fring is still on wobbly legs! Can Quin finish him? Fring misses with a low kick. Quin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Fring. Fring obviously looking to wear him down.
Fring has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Quin drops Fring with a straight right hand, right on the button! Quin follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
